My name’s Alyssa, I’m 23. I grew up in Reading and now live in South West London with my boyfriend.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I work in central London in Partnership Marketing and love my job.

I started my blog &happenings in May 2018 after a lot of deliberation with some inner demons and fears. It has taken me a while to get properly stuck in due to fear of rejection and judgement but I’m learning to use it as the outlet I intended it to be.

Eat. Exercise. Sleep. Repeat.

I want to encourage you not to just think about exercise when you want to lose weight but as a way of life. Think of exercise as involving your mind and your body, a way of letting off steam and cleansing the day away.

People always talk about breakfast being the most important meal of the day – I agree. It is also my favourite meal of the day and if I could eat breakfast food all day I would. However, a lot of people skip breakfast because they just don’t have time for it. When you eat breakfast, it kicks your metabolism into gear. In case you are interested, it does this through a process called thermogenesis, which is the body burning calories to produce heat and therefore stimulates your metabolism. So not only does it fill an empty stomach, provide you with the essential nutrients to start your day it also helps get your metabolism moving – winner all round!

My own story.

What’s your name, age and where do you come from? My name is India, I’m 26 and I’m from Norfolk.

Do you exercise regularly? What kind of exercises do you enjoy? On a good week, I exercise about 6 times but this varies depending on how I feel. At least 4 times. I really enjoy going to gym classes because of the variety it gives me. I also enjoy running but not really on the treadmill!
