I want to encourage you not to just think about exercise when you want to lose weight but as a way of life. Think of exercise as involving your mind and your body, a way of letting off steam and cleansing the day away.

People always talk about breakfast being the most important meal of the day – I agree. It is also my favourite meal of the day and if I could eat breakfast food all day I would. However, a lot of people skip breakfast because they just don’t have time for it. When you eat breakfast, it kicks your metabolism into gear. In case you are interested, it does this through a process called thermogenesis, which is the body burning calories to produce heat and therefore stimulates your metabolism. So not only does it fill an empty stomach, provide you with the essential nutrients to start your day it also helps get your metabolism moving – winner all round!
